So I just took a look through some OLD issues from 2002-2003 and it's CRAZY to look back at where my head was 5 years ago. (I also caught a blurb that I wrote in the guestbook in '04, how embarrassing!) The paper looks great and gets better every year, keep up the good work!

You kids do me proud. Although stop using .bmp files on the front page; those take a while to load. I've learned from my own time as webmaster what to do and what not to do!
Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing PDF versions of past issues available soon!

Hi there, Mueller!
Probably don´t remember me so here´s to remind you that I graced the Signature with my GERMAN charms during the 1997/98 school year - as well as your social studies class. May I just say, your accent is a nighmare for foreigners in their first 2 classes on their first day of school in the US! Understanding you though I can now claim that I understand pretty much anyone :-). And apparently I just can´t forget about you guys at Brodhead... It´s nice to see how things are developing so keep on publishing! All the best!

Yea, this paper is alright. Maybe u should let the kids have a little more freedom, you know, let them say more of the things they want. i think one of the major problems with this paper is the censorship. just let the kids have fun with it!! btw, the warped reality page is the best. maybe next year get someone who actually makes sense to write it, then it would be even better.

Holy cow, I've only waited a month for this ridicoulous paper to get online. Is the Bass-o-Matic not pulling its weight or what. Oh well what else would one expesct from a guy who only went to college to avoid the draft and a full-blown (or should i say inhaled;)hippy

Well, I have completed my two-year tenure as Web Editor. It's been exceedingly dull at times, but also greatly satisfying. I now leave my legacy in the capable hands of Tim Thingvold and my brother, Josh. The next time I appear on this site, I will no longer be editor, but plain ol' Zach Heise.
I have enjoyed bringing the paper to you these past years...I hope the Signature remains as fun and amusing as it is now.

Feel free to post any comments you might have on our new format here. After several years of the traditional style, our advisors decided to redo things for a change of pace. That, and we were getting tired of "Band of the Month" with "Concert of the Month" and all the other "the Month" things. We left a few...but now, things will be a lot different. Hope you enjoy.

Hey, what happened to my kick but comics? Someone should step up to the plate and stop skipping class for McEDees, like I never did...
Otherwise it's cool to see old faces and check out what's new in B-town now that I'm in ARMY training in Virginia and the stories are great. Don't give T-Bird a hard time and don't play his guitar unless he plays some Bob Marley. I'm still a band geek, but I can kick a lot of Iraqi but doing it, so Brodhead High band geeks got my vote. Keep up the good work!

Nice to see that Brodhead has it's own web site. Makes it easy to find out what's happening back home.
This is for the person who loads the pictures on the site.....if you can't see it within the first 5 seconds of the site coming up, then you need to work the picture through Photoshop or something similar prior to loading it on the site. We're a society of drive-thru's, so time is of great value.

--Just thought that I'd say hello to the people that look at this site more often than not. I'm looking around to see what kind stories, and I am depressed there was no frontpage... not that I ever did anything for it anyway. But that's not why I am posting. Anyway, looks like everyone is doing what they're supposed to for the most part. I'm in College now, majoring in CIS Computer Networking, FYI. Just thought I'd drop by for old times. Maybe I'll write you guys another article...

Oh man...here I am after school sitting in front of Thompson's computer putting all of September's paper online. Heck, I'm not even IN journalism any more. All I need for the feeling to be complete is a pair of handcuffs.

Since starting to plan our 15 year class reunion, I've been taking time to check out the signature. Kudos to those of you who put it together. I'm going to mention the Signature website in our next letter that we send out to our old classmates. Hey, Mr Thompson, you still listening to Barry Manilow?

I'm a former student of Brodhead High School and I signed on to read up on my class, 1976. I hope to get in touch with some old friends via e-mail, i.e., Nate Goodman, class of 1976. Good to see Brodhead High is doing well.

I'm a former BHS student from um. . . SEVERAL years ago. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Mueller may remember me as "Obadiah" Orr. :o) Anyway, it's nice to see that the Signature is still going, and going well by the looks of it. Looks awesome guys! Keep up the good work.

Whoever is putting together this website is doing a fine job of it. Although it doesn't seem that he really knows what he's doing.
Good to see everyone writing in, even if you were all forced into it.m

I'm a former student of the Brodhead school District and I signed on to read up on my class. I had hopes of getting in touch with some old friends via e-mail but this will have to do. I'd like to wish everyone goodluck in the future, and I just like to add that the Math team is awesome.

Mueller and Thompson, it is February and you guys are still stuck in December. Quit living in the past! Time is money, people. Well, I suppose The Signature is fine, though it does lack a certain pizzazz that only the Neuenschwanders can supply. Oh well, you tried.

First, I'd just like to say hey all to my friends! I really miss you guys...To those who have no idea who I am, I did go to Brodhead schools, since 1st grade...all the way up until the end of my junior year in high school. I wanted to let everyone know that I am doing fine and I am leaving for the Army on July 3rd. Drop me a line anytime! Who knows, I might even be back for a visit...lol. By the way, I'm living in Indiana.. :)

I was reading the paper, and saw the article on the people going into the service (Story...). I would just like to say, good for you. I've been in the Marine Corps now for almost a year and a half and have had a wonderful time. In that time, I've been coast to coast, and right now I'm deployed in Bagram, Afghanistan doing my part in Op. Enduring Freedom. Keep things going well for the school and the community. I'm glad to say that I'm a graduate from Brodhead High.
